The 2% to 5% revenue leakage range
When we say that growing B2B businesses typically lose 2% to 5% of revenue to leakage, we are quoting an indicative range based on industry benchmarks for unbilled scope, sub-ledger disconnects, missed renewals and manual reconciliation errors.
It is not a figure measured across Auditor Alpha customers, and it is not a promise of what any one business will recover. Your own figure depends on your data, your processes and how your CRM and ledger are configured.
The only way to know your own number is to measure it. The free 7-day Revenue Health Check connects HubSpot and Xero with read-only access and shows the discrepancies in your own data, each with a confidence score and the evidence behind it.
What "zero operational risk" means
We use "zero operational risk" to describe how Auditor Alpha touches your systems, not to claim that no risk of any kind exists. Specifically:
- Access is read-only through OAuth. Auditor Alpha can read your HubSpot and Xero records but cannot create, change or delete them.
- Auditor Alpha never posts entries to your ledger and never contacts your customers.
- A person on your team reviews every flag and decides whether to act on it.
- Data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3 and at rest with AES-256, on SOC 2 Type II–audited cloud infrastructure. Auditor Alpha itself has not yet completed a SOC 2 audit.
How a discrepancy is scored
Every check runs every two hours through three matching layers: direct ID matching on shared identifiers, semantic matching on names and descriptions, and heuristic matching on amounts, dates and patterns. Each result carries a confidence score from 0 to 100%.
A flag is reported as potential unbilled revenue until a reviewer confirms it. We don't count a flag as recovered revenue, and figures in our ROI simulator are illustrative estimates, not guarantees.
